Though Thumbtraps were developed for the iPad we've tested them on several similar devices. Thumbtraps cling to any device that has a glass screen. They fit over on-screen controls of tablet-scale games and some phone games.

SUPPORTED DEVICES

Thumbtraps have been successfully tested on the iPad, iPad Mini, Kindle Fire, Nook Color, Motorola Xoom, Blackberry Playbook, HTC Flyer, Samsung Galaxy, ASUS Transformer, Toshiba Thrive, ACER Iconia, Nexus 7 and vinyl body suits.

Compatible with over 400 games!

SCREEN PROTECTORS

Thumbtraps will cling to any iPad’s glass screen without fail. However if you have a screen protector, please note that Thumbtraps will cling to glossy screen protectors, but success is less likely with a matte-finish or non-glare finish. We know they cling to:

- iFix and Repair Replacement Screens
- Ghost Armor
- Phantom Skinz (glossy, not matte)
- Zagg Invisible Shields (glossy, not non-glare)

 

 

OTHER CONTROLLERS

Thumbtraps be used in combination with other iPad controllers. They can make a great second or backup controller in dual-stick games.
